We said we wanted exercise and did we get it today. A 10km hike which covered four of the granite outcrops. Strenuous, but great to get moving.

The views from the tops of the peaks are incredible. No camera with me as it would not have captured the scenes. Lari, the owner, is an incredible lady. She is a botanist in her second profession, that after being a jewellery designer first. She has written books about the flora and fauna of the area, a runner of note and has done many an epic cycle around Zambia.

We took a chance and asked if their kitchen could bake us some bread. On our return from our hike a lovely warm loaf awaited us.

The campsite is not full so we are very comfortable. Tomorrow more hiking planned.

We joined her and another guest (on a motorbike from USA) for a dinner which was both plentiful and delicious.

This sounds incredible. Also, nothing better than freshly baked bread. What a win!
